CALLING ALL IRISH (or Irish at Heart): Join us for our Irish Celtic Festival on Saturday, March 9th from 11am-4:30pm. The event will be held at Greenbrook Adventure Park. If you’re not Irish, that’s okay. We are welcoming all, and there will be plenty of Celtic descents to show you how it’s done!
There will be lots of traditional Celtic food, craft beers, hard ciders, and fantastic entertainment. We have plenty of activities planned for the kiddos, too, like a “Pot of Gold” scavenger hunt, face painting, balloons, park fun and much more!
Mini demonstrations filled with all things Celtic will give you opportunities throughout the day to learn about the Irish heritage and more. There will be a fun Relay Race with prizes for First Place, Last Place, and Most Original Costume…AND a “Best Legs in a Kilt” contest for the gentlemen…trust us, you don’t want to miss this one!
And we’re not forgetting our furry leprechauns, either… bring your pup for the annual Lucky Dog Parade at 12:30pm! There will be awards given for dogs that are Most Irish, Cutest, and Dog/Owner Look Alike. All proceeds from the parade benefit the Humane Society of Lakewood Ranch.
